Stamping Techniques 1. Solid Stamping - Press stamp firmly on the ink pad several times, then tap lightly several times (this ensures even ink coverage). Press the stamp firmly onto your project (don't rock the stamp if you want a sharp image). 2. Outline Stamping - (same as above) then color in the image with chalks, blending pens, markers, or colored pencils (it is quickest & easiest to color with the chalks or blending pens). 3. Embossing - (same as one - except use your embossing ink pad). Pour a generous amount of embossing powder over your stamped image and shake off the excess. (Return the excess powder to your jar for reuse) With a small paintbrush remove any stray flecks of powder. Turn on your heat tool and hold a few inches above the paper. As the powder begins to melt move the heating tool slowly across the image. (be careful not to overheat the image)
